Digg.com the social news website is my main source of news. Simply because it gathers news from all over the web. The news is submitted by users then dugg/buried by users, moving the most relivent and important stories straight to the front page. This allows me to check out whats important to people on the web. I also like to check out catagories seperately, such as technology and apple. Check out digg.com, I promise you will fall in love with this site.

Pixelmator
I'm a bit dissapointed in this application. Theres alot to be desired, and besides the GUI looking beautiful and well polished, I can't think of anything positive to say. So let me explain why I don't think that Pixelmator is ready for release. To be honest my biggest complaint is the lack of a shape tool, I use custom shapes constantly, and there isn't even a pen tool I can use to make my own custome shape...
First of all, this program is not worth a purchase. It's $56, but I wouldn't pay for it. Actually I'm probably not going to use it, unless they plan on improving it. So for this, I'm going to click "Use Demo"
Don't even bother trying to open a .psd (photoshop document) because they are not supported. Which in an image editor would be expected, but nope, no support, if you try to open a .psd, Pixelmator locks up and stops responding.
At the very least when opening a new document I would like to be able to choose to have a transparent background as aposed to a white background, but this doesn't even let you choose different colors...
The text editor isn't very creative, the most you can do with text is what the Apple text editor lets you... Soo not impressed...
There is no keyboard shortcut for the transform tool. Also, you cannot transform text at all. I really don't like that...
The brush and pencil tool, are esentialy the same tool, the only difference is that the brush tool gets blurred slightly.
Now, I could go on forever about what I don't like about Pixelmator, but I'm in physics and my teacher is going to tell me to put my laptop away soon. I am really sorry to give such a negative review, I've been excited about Pixelmator for almost a year now, but this is just complete dissapointment.
